Sea Spray on a Wild Day' Sold 

Title: 'Sea Spray on a Wild Day' Acrylic on Board..many of my small seascapes are painted entirely by memory, unconscious/accidental/ impressions of the sea and distant land... then tightened up and...inspired by Aberdeen/Fife/Gourock Arran Isle of Bute  Sold 

Painting in such a way as to allow the colour and paint to unconsciously and accidentally develop into a painting. Inspiration and accident is then tightened up allowing a loose imaginative sea and land to materialise. Colour sets the mood and time of day. Paint splashing represents Sea spray, sand, energy and  movement, Sea Bird movements echo sound and the wind. Pallet knives create thick impasto effect creating texture. Sometime from imagination and or my photographs or memories.  
 Experimental painting which lead on to become a way of working.
